"Solo: A Star Wars Story" - Han Solo's unfinished journey (Part 2)
For the followers of Star Wars, the first 30 minutes of the movie really impressed me. In particular, the image of the industrial city of Corellia shows up with some dark, dirty hogs, dense children of British accent exploit a terrible labor.
They look like an upgraded version that comes out of Charles Dickens' novel, Oliver Twist. The muddled battlefield where Han encountered Tobias was a reference to the classic world war movies in All Quiet on the Western Front (1930) or Paths of Glory (1957). And the school of windswept skyscrapers in the midst of the sky is sure to be inspired by the great Western.

Sadly, as the end of the story, the storyline began to show strength as Han and his co-workers continue to muck around some boring loot. Thought that the Solo Foreign Affairs would focus on exploiting the criminal world under the watchful eye, but the truth is extremely disappointing. Crimson Dawn, the evil force that confronts Han, is essentially a weaker and more useless version of the Empire. They do not have any hit points, except the boss Dryden Vos (Paul Bettany) like to show danger.

- 5 strange facts that only the gut fan knows about the green giant Hulk
Just as the Star Wars fan community is concerned, when replacing the epic fantasy element with the "dress" of adventure, crime, the movie completely loses its characteristic identity for so long. No more air battles or saber screenings that have been ingrained in the hearts of so many generations, Solo Foreign Affairs is now no different than how many works on the subject of space travel similar.
If in the original trilogy, messages of anti-war, gender equality, feminism are delicately set up through situations, dialogue and images, in the second half of Solo Foreign Affairs, they are caged put very forceful. The characters are exhorting, blatantly preaching the doctrine, no matter what the circumstances are at that time.
Finally, after experiencing a lot of wind waves throughout nearly 135 minutes of time, the protagonist Han Solo has not shown clear psychological changes. And his girlfriend Qi'ra whom he most loving, trust it is difficult to understand all the place say.
By the time the movie ends, the audience is unable to grasp what is her ultimate purpose, why did she decide to act like that? Even though Disney is planning to "milk" the post-apocalyptic story for the poor pilot, but this kind of open up is a bit too real!
In general, Solo Foreign Affairs has just stopped at a blockbuster entertainment alone, can bring a good laugh to crowded audience, it is not deep enough to match the shoulder to shoulder with the same. another brother of the Star Wars family. Solo: A Star Wars Story began airing in theaters nationwide on May 25, 2018.
